Short story, I was at a convenience store relatively close to my home today. And there was this hot cashier girl that was checking me out and gave me a lot of IoIs during and after I paid. Of course could be she wasn't as into me as I think but really looked that way.

I'm guessing she will lose interest if I go there a lot of times and do nothing but go about my ordinary business, so I want to do something in the near future.

I've been thinking about using the classic way of asking a cashier's digits, when she asks if I want the receipt, I'd say "Sure, if you write your number on it." Does that actually work or does it just sound cliché and shitty?

Oh and I know that cashier's job is to be nice to everybody and shit but I'm pretty sure that's not entirely the case here. I think I can confirm that when I see her the second time, from her behaviour if it's kindness/customer service only or not. But I'm rather confident about it as it is.

Using this kind of stunt will make you appear really needy. From what you wrote I can tell you're have this fear of getting rejected and that's why you try to play it safe. Think about it, how many guys have tried to make so witty interesting way to get this girls number? Probably hundreds. Also probably 99% of them were chodes. Now how many guys actually came up to her and told her their true intentions and instead of beating around the bush told her the truth and put their balls on the chopping board probably zero. Because only guys with really strong frame of mind would do that.
