I've read most of 'The Game' but it doesn't seem to be about the actual method of PUA.

It's more a story.

Would Neil Strauss's 'The Rules Of The Game' be a better read for actual methods?

Rules of the game: Now i do recomend this if you are beginning and want to commit to PUA. Its like a guide with missions that enables you to get out there and talk to strangers, [girls] and feel confident about yourself...

if all you want is methods then there is at least a book for each.
