So I'm 19, Sophomore year of college and many girls I know refer to me as "cute" or say I have "boyish charm" or "boyish cuteness". Since getting to college I've only hooked up with 3 girls and only 1 lay. I'm wondering if looking "boyish" has something to do with this, is looking boyish at 19 a bad thing? If so what should I do to change this?

How do you see yourself?

It is more important how your see yourself and how you deal with the way you see you! If having a boyish face is a reality for you then make peace with that and move on. We all have qualities that we like/dislike about ourselves, just accentuate the good and accept the bad.

I also look young for my age, and when someone says something I will comment something like "Just wait until I hit puberty" or "I know right? You should see my baby pictures" any random type answer will do the trick. Or just blow it off and don't even make light of it!

Wait until you're 40 and can still pull the 25yo girls with your young appearance.

Peace...

I completely agree with crypto on this one also having a young looking aura. It is something that will come to be an advantage in later years but there is a few things that have worked for me to look more mature but keep my looks.

1. I work out constantly and I have a large amount of muscle mass. This gives me the image of looking more of a man.

2. I use a specific facial hair trimmer that is used to adjust the amount of stubble left on your face( conair istubble). I always leave a slight bit of facial hair to have a more rugged appearance.

3. The way you carry yourself is important. If you act mature, people will treat you like an adult. That doesn't mean you should stop using a cocky funny approach if that's what your doing.

I know exactly how you feel I'm 20 and in college and I used to have this exact same problem! Now I just pulled my first older woman, 36 years old and hot as hell!!

Thats pretty gold man. I'd second the C/F - comments like that should actually help you build more attraction.

How tall are you? I know a short dude who looks young and he does have "boyish" characteristics. But he still acts mature. I don't thing boyish charm is an insult, it just means you display noteably boyish traits. Especially if you hit on women in a sweet-natured and flirtacious sort of way, rather than being aggressive, direct, and sexual. If the women who are saying you have boyish charm are not putting out, then it's a problem and you'll need to look inward to make the corrections.
