How come all I ever hear from women are comments about a guys looks.

I was reading an article about Arnold Swartzenagger, he wrote a book, and all the comments from women were about how he's ugly, big head, big teeth, tiny beatty eyes, and that his wife was better looking.

In fact, anytime I read an article about any famous man, it's always negative talk about the guys looks, unless he's considered good looking, then they say nice things.

I get that people like to slam celebs, but why not slam his work, his acting or whatever, why always how he looks?

I was at a club over the weekend, and a guy was trying to get into a set of of three chicks, and they were laughing at him, he was kind of crater faced, and they were goofing, "hey Debbie is single, talk to her" then turning away and laughing, knowing that her friend wouldnt like him either.

Then about 20 minutes later, a tall guy walked in and their draws jobbed. Mouths wide opened saying OMG, he is so hot, and one was pushing the other to go over by him, and one girl says are you crazy, he wont want me.

This all without any talking from anyone, just by looking at both guys, they immediately made a judgement who was hot and who wasnt,. Who they could bust on and who they had to respect.

Looks matters a great deal, and not just apperance, the guy they slammed wasnt appearing badly, he was dressed well and well groomed, he just wasnt good looking enough to get their attention.

Looks do matter.
They just make things easier.
The one who tell you they don't matter are those trying to sell their PUA material.

and most guys on this site say it. "women arent as superficial as men, they dont care as much about looks as guys do..."

It;s like when a guy wears a tuxedo to a wedding, women dont find him any more sexy or attractive, they just find him to be pleasant looking.

Doesnt mean they will give him sex because he looks presenetable.

And think about yourselves, if an ugly woman gets dressed up in a nice dress, gets her hair done, smells nice, it doesnt make us any more interested.

Either we get a boner or we dont.

Girls care a lot about looks, and they're lying if they say they don't. If a girl goes out with a guy only based on looks than it's for eye-candy purposes — probably to make another girl jealous. Very catty. But, women also genuinely care about other qualities — like being funny or spontaneous — that should be displayed through DHVing and exposure (spending time together). Every women has dated guys that they have not been initially attracted to. But yea, girls care about looks, but it def seems like guys care more — but for different reasons.

I agree, they want endearing qualities more, but the problem is the first thing they will judge you on is your looks. If you dont make it past the first audition, you wont get a chance to show that you have other qualities.

To me it's a respect thing. They wont respect you if you are short, chubby and ugly. They will play games or play hard to get. But if you are tall dark and handsome, suddenly they freeze up and get nervous, they wont play their games or make you feel small if you are tall and handsome.

Or if they happen to find you are rich.

it comes down to the woman stopping in her tracks and feeling unsure about her own self. If she feels bigger or better than you you have no chance.

The difference is that if you can get a girl into the right emotional state, they will find a guy attractive. If you are average looking but have a great personality with strong confidence you can pull girls that are higher on the looks chart than you.

Thats why you see the average Joe with the hot babe more often than you see the average girl with the hot dude!

Both girls and guys see with their eyes in the "immediate" but girls are more capable of seeing past the looks more quickly if the other things line up correctly.

Women are attracted to guys who they think will be able to pleasure them in bed.. and guys who look like they will be good providers (and who have good genetics to pass on to their children). In other words, when they are on the prowl, they look for indicators of confidence, physical prowess, and high status (social or otherwise).

Everything we do here is designed to use this knowledge to our benefit.

If you are lacking some of these key traits, then you should make up for it by being better than average at others. There's a reason so much of this forum is dedicated to social interactions (which can be an indicator of high social status).. it's something that's in our power to improve upon. It's the same thing for working out.. if you aren't getting results, then physical fitness is something that we can change (unlike height, for example).

Just my 2 cents.

Truly hot girls have nothing to prove. Nobody doubts their hotness, therefore their status wont be lowered if she dates a buttface.

Women less than hot do have something to prove and are more careful who they date.

Getting a girl into an emotional state is not possible if she laughs at you before you can say a word.

Unofortunately they cant see your body in the winter so you are stuck with your face and height.

Woahh you can't honestly not admit that Enrique Iglesias is drool worthy. Have you seen that boy dance? And the examples of guys that aren't that attractive probably don't even think they're attractive — they all make fun of themselves.

the moral of the story is, go to gym, get muscles, get a reasonably toned body, ie dont need a 6 pack, and you will be attractive

its not what I think, its what women think. the people I listed are known sex symbols.

I have never heard Jay Leno being known as a sex symbol> why? both rich celebs.

Body building helps. If women are judging on bodys obviously it will count.

But its like ourselves. when we see a woman who is ugly, we dont want to kiss her, you have to be attracted to her face to kiss her, unless you are drunk.
