The real reason why many men pick up mystery methods and other PUA material, is not simply because they want to pull women (yes on the outside they may think thats the case) but really its because society doesn't teach boys (males) how to be men, there is no passage of manhood, Men are still disposable like they were in the days of being sent off over the trenches to get shot by machine gun nests, but now women have the entitlement, while as men we have to apologies for having penises.

Most failture with the opposite sex or life in general with men, comes from them not having a passage of growth nor an outlet for masculinity, and one step further by saying identity. Men have always been defined by what their role is, as women along are valued for having valuable reproductive capabilities, men on the other hand have to become something, in order to gain status or be seen as valuable in society.

Now lets face it, being a father or husband is no longer an attractive prospect, if your wife wishes to leave you on grounds of being unsatisfied, she can do so. Fathers are no longer respected in the eyes of the media or courts, why would you want to look yourself in the mirror and see a Ray Barone, or Homer Simpson, there is no attraction anymore. Manly based jobs have been undermined and branded as "regressive".

Ultimately men have chosen to go to extremes of manipulating women into bed, because there is no real way for them to be men anymore, and even that is absurd, as its bowing down to a woman to gain acceptance.

This isn't a woman bashing thread by any means, my point is that sexism has affected men and women since the beginning of time, both genders had their place, however men have trailed behind, and it explains why men massively exceed women in suicide rates, mental illnesses, and homelessness.
