I'm not sure which locale best fits with this. Either way my question is this,
"Does anybody have tips/tricks/ideas on picking up military ladies?" I ask this because even though they are just ladies at the core and everything should be fundamentally the same, there is something severely different in the brain housing groups on these broads. That's right I said broads. Don't judge me.

So, I took a look around, and I'm having some problems finding any tips for landing those hot and smart Airforce Ladies, those Sexy Seamen.. (lol) and the elusive but Fiery Female Marines.

Anybody have any details on that, or want some details?

As for Airforce and Seamen, I must admit that I have almost NO knowledge on the subject. Most Marines are a different breed however. Most Marines have a belief set that everyone who isn't a Marine is disgusting. Strange, interesting, sad, but it's true. Most of us believe that. We're often weirded out when hanging out with a bunch of civilians. If you decide to tag onto a Marine, some things you might not want to do.

DON'T talk about your personal problems. This seems self explanatory, yes, but I mean don't even hint. They smell weakness. Like a chupacabra. Reconsider any openers that ask for help.

DON'T act like you're a bad ass. They've seen the baddest of the bad. I'm not saying you aren't a bad ass, but they hang out with people who've been running around in the suck since the S*** hit the fan. They will probably laugh at you.

And although it may seem to go against what I just said...
DON'T be a b**** either. It will most CERTAINLY have them laughing at you. (Then again, no one here is a b****. What am I worried about?)

There are some pointers I can make that are not negative reinforcement however.

DO be aggressive. This is for several reasons. We're all (mostly) really freakin' intense, ESPECIALLY THE FEMALES. We like doing intense sh**. And we like doing it INTENSELY. ER. Also, thinking like this typically makes people talk louder and most of us are losing our hearing because we've been around one too many BOOMS.

DO be interesting. Again, I reinforce the basics but it needs explaining. Marines (and all military as far as I understand) are very practiced in BOREDOM. When we get bored, sh** blows up. We're bored all week, then on weekends sometimes we literally burn the town down. Keep them entertained and things will go VERY smoothly.


I've got more info, but I feel like I'm just stating the obvious for non-obvious reasons. There is a clause I'd like to add just in case you have no brains.

Female Marines are still women. They're just women who can typically shoot you from five hundred yards away about nine out of ten times.
It's a beautiful thing.

I don't know about military chicks, as I have never been in the military but I believe you answered your own question...

So from what ive seen when on post and at training is that the military is very..."cliquey"...marines hang with marines, soldiers with soldiers etc.

As far as them hooking up with a civilian I'm not sure how it goes all i know is that the army girls I've been around are always looking to get laid by other soldiers. I riotous assume it's the same I'm all branches, army flirts alot with airforce babes because they are alot Hotter han army girls ( i joined the wrong damn branch haha)

Also, just about every person in the military likes to party on the weekends on post, so if you wanna score the weekends is when to do it my friend. Wow now I'm just rambling. But that's my insight.

I lived in a town with a strong military presence, and in my experience female soldiers and sailors are generally almost impossible to pick up if you're a civilian, because they are surrounded by men all day every day, and when they go out - they go out with a big alpha types who they work with and normally have built up a strong rappore with anyway.

I mean, you say it yourself - you feel 'above' civilians in the military, so instantly, anyone NOT in the military is less value than you. So picking up military chicks is fighting against the tide.

Still, suppose there must be SOME way - perhaps proving yourself completely refreshingly different to all these other guys who hit on them constantly at work and out of work from the cliques they are part of.

Most women in the Navy or whatever will end up with a LTR with a man in the Navy as well, if only because they understand exactly the time you sacrifice because of the job.
