The point of this thread is for someone to post a failed attempt to get with a girl or an attempt that was too much effort and not worth it. Something that didn't quite work out.

Then someone who knows what they're doing goes over what happened and explains what they would've done and why. Also why not to do what was being done wrong.

As these things generally don't work out for me I don't really have high expectations here either. I'm not sure why they don't work, so I figured I'd ask someone to narrate why it isn't working and what they would've done instead and why they'd do that. That way I'll get a better comprehension of what the hells going on.

This is off topic and doesn't pertain to the subject.
What do you think of the above?

I've done other things that have worked and have enough business knowledge combined with intuition to draw others. However these skills are limited and flawed. So I seek understanding of why ideas that look like they're work aren't working.

This has had many practical applications with anything I've initially done poorly at. e.g. Kicking a soccer ball for a shot. While most maneuvers with a soccer ball, for me at least, could be figured out from trial and error because they were straight forward the shot was not this way for me. I practiced and perfected this skill from taking shots while someone watched then told me what I did right and what I did wrong. So I figured out what to work on, worked on it. Then came back and was evaluated again. The lather rinse repeat of this ends up with you learning all the teacher knows.

On top of learning this way with the corrections and evaluations there's learning from seeing others in action. Someone told me what part of my foot to hit the ball with and I didn't get it right away. Then they told me and showed me and I got it, practiced and perfected it.

The other way is to simply watch those who succeed and try to pick up on what's going on. This is more time consuming.

Then just being told may work for some, but not everyone learns this way. I do to an extent but learn better the other way.

And last is just watching.

Actually, I think HeavyRota8tion did contribute something. I think this is the only sensible thing that has been said so far:
....Because in my knowledge, noone get's laid off craig's list by posting ads. I've never heard of it happening. Maybe if the guy has posted about 100 messages, and has a picture of a Men's Health cover model as his picture, but that is a lot more work than approaching 20 girls would be. And a lot less fun too.

So instead of being passive agressive over a good question, why don't you offer advice for what has worked for you, because none of us have ever even heard of Craig's list working consitently.

Actually my friend Charles, Cody, and Summer Nyte [one of my facebook friends... you know, the porn star], have all said they use craigslist and have all suggested using it.

Charles
I've been over his house seen him post an add with a picture of himself an interesting title message and a message with a joke or two saying he's looking for a friend to hang out with that's female. And he didn't mention sex anywhere in there. Then girl responded and he started talking and hung out with two within that same day and fucked them both.

I've been over his house and seen him post an add on Craigslist looking for a friend with benefits that was pretty straight forward that he wanted a fuck buddy, but still polite. Then girls responded to his add, not just spam, actual girls. He started chatting with a few and running his own game on them and ended up throwing a party and inviting 5 girls from craigslist out of the 20 something that replied.

Well, she's a porn star. If I saw her add I'd respond... But apparently she uses this to get laid and guys respond to her adds and she has sex with them.


Cody and Charles don't look like they're on the men's health magazine either. Just normal looking guys.

They also use plenty of fish, facebook, and other things from the internet.

So, here's a new situation. It's from last night. What I did last night. Please directly answer what you would've done different, what I did right and what I did wrong. Do not offer vague off topic advice. Just give an over view. You can follow simple instructions right without trying to be Mr AMoG [Asshole male of group].

During the day I was home getting things done, laundry, dishes, whatever. Then relaxed and played some video games and watched a movie. Around 8:17 I posted and add on craigslist and created this topic. Then I decided to leave and go to this bon fire event [drum circle].

So on my bike I go. An 8 mile bike ride later I'm there and look and see there's a lot less people than normal for the time of night... weird. But I go to the liquor store and buy a 32 ounce beer and head back to the circle. The fire was going and there were some people there.

while there I sit down and there's a chick I think if pretty cute [probably an 8 or 9], one I'm not into [an 8 who acts like she's a 10 cause she's usually the most attractive girl there and all the guys hit on her.], and about 4 or 5 guys. I sit down and crack open my beer and light a cigarette and say hello to the girl I'm not into [she gets that I only wanna be friends and has left her guard down]. The cute one asks for a cigarette so I give her one.

Me and the cute one are getting fire blown in our faces so we relocate to a new spot.

She's talking to me about how the drum circle is ending and she's upset because they're not gonna have it anymore since too many fights break out. I just listen to her vent. She keeps coming up with idea's for it but everyone else dissects them and tells her why they wont work. I start sharing my beer with one of the guys.

Then a girl with a flute shows up.
She's okay looking. She's playing some stringy thing and I asked If I could play, then asked if she could teach me this song she was playing and she's all like "I don't like to give out the chords to my songs cause then people can steal them." So I say, okay. But she goes on and on about it into this obnoxious lecture and I say "Yeah, I got it the first time. I don't care. It's not that big of a deal." And she persists on being a bitch about it all and going on and on, so I ignore her and start talking to the cute one again. I asked for her face book. She didn't have one. Oh well.

Then two other girls show up. One of them I'm talking to about things I actually like, like anime, psychology, personality profiles, and so on. She's pretty cool so we talk for a while and she asks for my facebook. I give it to her. Then she wants to touch my hair cause it's like hers. I touch hers and then mine and she does the same and we say that mines softer and hers is straighter but pretty close.

She gives me a ride home and says I should come over sometime and visit.
Wasn't the girl I wanted but it's okay. She's cute too.

Look, you can't give a straight answer.
When I ask questions about sports like how to properly kick a soccer ball I'm giving a straight answer that pertains to kicking a fucking soccer ball.
When I ask a question about Marvel vs Capcom three doing combos I'm giving a straight answer that has to do with what I asked.
When I ask about cooking, chess, ANYTHING people usually give you a straight forward answer.
