THE QUESTION
Women who look at the ground as they walk? What does it mean in general?

MY KNOWLEDGE
I talked to a friend about this and she said that girls do this to protect themselves in a way. I didn't catch much after that so I figured the forum might know.

MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE RECENTLY
Cute girl walking my way and she starts looking at the ground at least until we pass each other (not sure since I don't ever look back). I don't come off as predator, I walk relaxed with good posture looking wherever I please with easy eyes. I do not make eye contact with her at all but pay attention to peripheral view. This girl and I have seen each other around, so we are fully aware of each others existence. Any input?

I'm not sure man, but if I were to make an educated guess, I would suppose she's a little insecure. Have you had eye contact with her before? Have you noticed if she will look at the ground only when she knows you are around?

I guess one way of finding out is approaching her in a casual chat, and you will be able to get more clues about how she feels.
