Edrev, interesting question! Here's my opinion: I think once a girl ask you a question like that, you shouldn't assume you should terminate the convo. From watching Neil Strauss I noticed he never directly answers that are the thrown at him. He'll always change the subject or just continuing to talk about something interesting.
So if she asks, how's it going, don't directly respond to it, go into a routine or qualify her, or bring up a DHV.
Her "how's it going" You: Hey, I'm picking out a new car to buy, any suggestions?
Her: How's it going" Ok, no more small talk, tell me something interesting xD
WHATEVER.
But I'd disagree, don't stop talking.
I did think that would be a better approach, to change the subject but still reply eventually. In the book, he literally says "do not reply to something you can only give a boring response". I get the "how's it going" quite often, so I was intrigued. I'll definitely PM you with some things I liked about the book. I got quite a few bookmarks. Thanks dude!
