I'm 29 and back in the game after like 7 years in a relationship. I'm a writer and so I always reading for work. I've tried work some PUA materials into my reading. So far I've read a few chapters of Magic Bullets, and listened to about half of something by Swinggcat. Please recommend what, if anything else I should be reading instead. I've watched some Simple Pickup but don't really buy it.
From High School to 23, I was pretty good with ladies and getting laid, but I feel like I forgot how that all worked, things seem different now.
I've begun talking to a girl, we met during a getaway with Mutual friends, she was with a then boyfriend who got mad at her for flirting with me. Then she contacted telling me that they'd broken up and giving me her number.
We met up once, talked, had fun, and have been texting since, but I feel like, via text she's bee a Long Fuse (Oh yeah, I also have a PDF on Text Game.) At times she seems to respond to jokes and callback humor, other times not. Sometimes though, I just think she takes things very genuinely/literally and that's why she doesn't respond. I've tried compliance test type humor, she doesn't really play along. Basically, I went from having an inkling she liked me (in my experience if that's the case she probably likes you) to having no idea, leaning towards, she doesn't. help is highly appreciated.
