I know being a strong male in the relationship is important, my question is do women need and want to be told what to do? I use to think "let her do what ever she wants and don't worry about it" but now I am starting to think that women want a guy to tell them what they can and can't do.

I hear mixed things, some guys say "make it clear that you are not cool with your gf going to the club alone, or talking to guys behind your back" while others say "let her do what she chooses...don't worry about it".

One of the most powerful, sexually provocative words spoken to a woman -NO-!!

Some girls want to be domineered, especially those with low self-esteem and daddy issues. And some don't like controlling men, or are just way too headstrong and independent. Both are flaws in my opinion.

It's all about balance. You can be confident and assertive without being bossy and controlling. I think most women want that type of guy.
