Serious question, obviously sex is a major part of life, and people think about it a lot, but how much of it is actually the centre of your average person's every thoughts ?

I have a very high sex drive, so i can't help but think about it a lot, however i have a lot of friends who are able to keep the lid on it to such an extent, that they are almost asexual beings. Is it healthy to keep a lid on sexual feelings, or what about if those feelings or drive is limited.

If you have a high sex drive it can affect you judgement, lead to jealousy and come across as having lower value when approaching and communicating with women. Of course having a high sex drive has a lot of advantages like everything does.

So in conclusion, how powerful is the sex drive in most people, does it vary ? is it all people think about ? Is there anyway of assessing this ?

Like everything it varies. I'm sure this is a result of many factors, including just plain amount of hormones in someone's body. And there are pros and cons to everything, both high and low drives and in between.

I think the community tends to overestimate sex drive. But it's the usual hammer-nail problem. Since the community tends to be here (or to present itself as being here) to get people laid, it's only reasonable that it tends to consider the world in terms of targets that exist in a permanent sexual limbo, spending 24-7 their lives waiting for some alpha male to bang them. even HSD girls will spend a reasonable portion of their time focused on something other than sex, and not all social interactions are gaming.
I am definitely high on the sex-drive scale, but I can focus on my work without being constantly distracted by thoughts of wet pussy
