About 4 months ago I suffered an injury preventing me from working out at all. Im primarily a bodybuilder, PUA is my second obsession. I was at the end of the bulk when I injured myself. For anyone who doesnt know, bulking, its where you eat obsessively to pack on muscle. I was about 235lbs, and my ideal weight after dieting would be 210lbs.

At first I felt good because I was eating so much less due to not lifting. I actually looked better as all the bloating from excess carbs and water sucked out of my face/gut. I used to get compliments and all that. But now after 4 months ive lost a lot of muscle, feel really out of shape and just pudgy.

Basically my question is when your at your all time worst in terms of looks, how do you get into a good mood to start sarging woman. I know looks arent everything but being at my all time worst it affects my mental state. I feel rather self concious when running sets because im out of shape and to myself feel ugly.

Its just hard to have that spark, that charisma you need when you feel like this. Besides alcohol which I dont drink. Any advice, nlp, affirmations, anything?

As an alternative for simply working out again and getting toned is to change some basic things about yourself to create a "new you". Get a new hair style, try something new with your facial hair, try a different kind of cologne, get new shoes or a new clothing style, etc. Choose styles that complement your new body type. You'll feel less attached with your former self and you'll be surprised at how much it boosts your confidence.

Of course, as soon as you can, you should start working out again. Looks aside, working out is great for your mental health.
