I met a stunning girl, and normally I'm pretty chilled about what to say but with her I'm really nervous about screwing it up. It's ridiculous really as we just met, but there was a definite connection that I think surprised us both.

Anyway, a couple of generic comfortable texts in she texted me to say she'd had a nice day at work and not much else. I tried to call but she was walking in to some work drinks. Without really thinking I texted to say my day had been pretty mental due to some big changes at work, and asked her if she was spontaneous. She said instantly "Probably more impulsive.. Why?"

Any suggestions for where to go with this? I want to get in to the light hearted short back and forth role play, and also to set up a meet before the end of the week, as I go away, but I'd like to build a connection before I go.

I would say just try to set up a time to get together where you can then talk more about things that will build the connection and where you can move to a little more escalation. That's the next step. Go for it.

Thanks Clearspeak. That's what I want to do; I think she's keen too, and that she'll want to meet up if i suggest it right. I'm just not sure how to read the 'probably more impulsive' comment and reply to it... Spontaneity is pretty similar to impulse, impulse is maybe a little less controlled and more flirty... but I don't know what level to reply at.

- I should have said. Other background is that I did a lot of DHV when we were chatting first, so I think I'm in a pretty good place at the minute.

Why are you caught up on that comment? It tells you something about her (including that you may want to stay away if she is so impulsive that she is dangerous). But if you are interested in her anyway, so what about that comment? It's not like you have to reply to every word she says.

Just ask her to get together and go from there.
