Some background on the situation. I am really into a girl and found out that i was pretty deep into the friend zone. i threw it out there that i was into her and told her i cant hang out with her anymore if were just friends because im into you. i asked her out a few times and i got responses like "i dont know if i like you like that" or "let me think about it" and other ambiguous nonsense. eventually i bottom lined it for her and she said she didnt like me like that.

i started a semi freeze out, ie not texting back nearly as much or very quickly, not hanging out nearly as much and being a bit standoffish when we did hang out. she responded to this a week later by letting me know she decided she wanted to give me a chance and let me take her out. i should have taken this as a very serious sign but i didnt, i immediately reverted back to my old habits of texting all the time and hanging out all the time. i try to take her out after hanging out all weekend and she told me she didnt like me like that again. i flipped out and told her to delete my number and not talk to me anymore.

i was on a serious freeze out of straight up ignoring and not talking to her for about 2 weeks, then opened up a little communication via some texting. she eventually started asking to hang out again, ive been vague in my responses but ive decided im going to try again and try to get my ass out of the friend zone! the total freezeo ut has been about a month.

ive got alot going against me, i put myself out there emotionally and showed a pretty emo side of me, and i hooked up with 2 of her good friends, which was a big part of why she wouldnt try anything with me (she told me this). the fact that i was so close and had her even come to me about taking her out (obviously only to quickly change her mind) makes me believe i can get out of the FZ. any advice on how to help me get out of the friend zone and get the girl based on the situation? thanks!

on a side note, i am a good looking, confident guy who doesnt have much issue picking up a random girl, this one specific girl has just got me crazy over her, so im not clueless on dealing with women in general, not sure if that will change any responses.

kill your need for her and it should be easier

the less needy, the better, if you care so much, and every time she throws a little curve ball to test you with a bit of resistance and you have full blown spaz attacks and start acting all passive aggressive instead of just honest and assertive, it will cost you
