What should I do tonight.

I'm in college and it's the first night back after summer break. My housemates from last year are gone so I live alone now and haven't made any friends I can go out with. Should I go to the club and try some pick up? Bare in mind I've never gone to a club without drinking before and never gone alone before. I'd love to pull tonight but can't imagine getting in the right mindset by going alone. Should I have a few drinks first or what would you recommend?

Id say go for it and see what happens. Who cares if you don't pick up? If your not used to going solo then get used to it, it will be a good way to meet people!
