Hi, I have already posted on this - sort of - but looking for a small extra bit of advice before I plow on with texting a girl I number closed today.

I didn't come across as CF in the banter with her on the train so going to try to avoid that approach for the time being. Fun is more my style so was considering going with the game where I send her a word and she responds with the first thing that pops in to her head. However I'm not convinced that just plowing straight in with that will work, it just feels a bit ...... Odd.

Was thinking of simply opening with "nice to meet you yesterday, really enjoyed the chat, how's the day going?" and the moving on to the game?

What do people think?

get the girls number in the first place by telling her you want to hang out, number comes as a result of her agreeing

call her don't text, confirm the date, don't text game

if you made a good enough impression and got to know her well enough, she won't flake

I agree with pumpington, showing intentions right from the start of meeting her is the best way to avoid "flakey numbers" Keep your frame, keep it authentic, go for what you want, don't every be apologetic about it. You can do this fysically or verbally, but always do it with full intent. Feel entitled to quality girls like her, tell her everything you want, but always stay congruent to who you are. Girls will love you for being yourself, not alot of guys can offer her that these days.

Also, if you text her, only do it to meet up at first, try to avoid her untill after you know her a bit better by hanging out in real. By doing this, you will stay a mystery, and she has to work to get to know you.

If however you want to start texting her, keep it short, and interesting, play with different emotions, tell her exactly what you think. Give your opinion about her, even if it's negative, she will appreciate you for being real.

So in short, 1. show intent from the start 2. be unapologetic about your actions, unless you really fuck up by seriously insulting her. Even then it's good to show the soft emotional side of you. And last but now least, 3. Feel entitled to her if you talk to her.

I usually just put my phone with the contact book in their hand and they will put it in.

You then text her during you first interaction. When this additional text convo dies I wait a day and texts her that I was pleased to meet her or thank her for something she did for me. It´s very charming and non threatening.

I mostly only number close after heavy make out with a girl though.
