Once I start talking to people or girls I get into this mode as simple pickup calls it the gd mode. In this mode I can talk to girls easily not think of the consequences. It's like time stops and I start thinking less about the outcome. One of my biggest problems is however to push myself to start talking to people. Once I can do that everything else is pretty much done. Does anyone have any advice on how I can overcome this obstacle. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The correct answer is the second! You want to take the big step of talking to everyone with ultimate confidence but its very hard to do this in one giant step.
If you have AA or social angst then you should first talk to all of the people who are easy to talk to.

SUCH AS:

Other guys
People who work in the area and are supposed to be freindly
Ugly people
Old people
etc etc....

You should always be talking to random people wherever you go even if its just another male or a middle aged woman. 1) because it will make it easy to talk to women because your ALWAYS talking to people 2) because it might help you learn how to deal with obstacles better (it helped me that way! by talking to ugly women you may get introduced to good looking women aka social proof)

Just generally learn how to be a good listener and talker and it become much easier to have conversations with not only women but EVERYONE

Thats wierd i just notice its easier to talk to uglier ladies then cute ones.
