So I'm returning to college for my second year in a couple of days. Since last year, I have been interested in the game, but have only recently started taking it seriously and really trying to improve.

I have never been really bad at PU, at least once I get past my AA. However my day game is awful. So any pointers on day game are more than welcome, but that's not why I'm here.

I have a friend, who was one of my better friends throughout last year, and I will be living with him next year. He is a natural at picking up women. I wouldn't call him a PUA but he is damn near it. There was an HB8.5 who I had been texting a bit last year. I only got her number through one of my female friends. We decided to go to a local bar one night when quite a few of my friends from res were going and I invited this HB8.5 with us. She said yes.

So we all showed up at the bar and were having a good time. HB8.5 showed up shortly after and sat at our table. (She already knew a few people in my group of friends). Then my friend who I am living with this year started talking to her, got her number, and f-closed her within a week, while sleeping with two other girls at the same time, and is now dating this HB8.5.

So, going back, I know I wouldn't have a better wing than my friend, or someone better to learn from (for free). He already said he would wing me this year so I could PU.

So, when my friend is winging me, how to I keep the targets attention on me and not on my friend?

Also, as mentioned before, tips on day game are welcome. Anything on day game. I have zero experience.

day game is just a different monster. the day game is very focused on conversation. i mean when you are at a club you can dance, the music is loud. in the day time that isn't there for you, so be ready and bring your A game. be charming and funny. give her compliments, neg her. whatever your game is do it. if its going bad and you want an early exit say you had to do something at 5pm or whatever and that you can't wait to take her dancing like you said you would. or whatever you decide to do as a date.

if its going well offer to extend the date by inviting her to your house to see that funny movie you asked if she saw and she hasn't. or whatever you decide to be your hook for extending the date.

if you want to k close you're going to have to take her somewhere private. a lunch date then talking at the park works. walking around the park in nature and then find a quite spot. build crazy kino here. by the time you sit down put your arm around her. basically start making your move. look into her eyes more. BUILD THAT ATTRACTION! its important.

now as far as keeping your dates attention on you, do the usual. build kino, make her laugh, dance with her (dancing well gets you laid), be charming. the only thing is don't give her too much attention. she needs to see that you can talk to other attractive females as well. so talk to the other girls in the group, dance with them too. good luck just some basic advice but hope it helps you think

Just also wondering about the approaches during day game. How do you open? How different would they be from in a club? Or are they different at all?
