this girl is leaving the country next sun and will be back one month later.. im planning to send her this the following week.. im working a lot on my game so taking cautious steps to not screw things up.. does this sound all right?

me: you can't wait to get out of here huh? i was thinking about doing something this Saturday night but i don't know if you would be free.

i'll be sending it sooner than that but im just checking if the message sounds needy or weak.

oh right. then yes. its not the greatest message.
a) you're sending a text which conveys you dont have the guts to call.
b) the message itself conveys a lack of confidence and direction.

not that texting is in itself all that bad. we live in a texting age after all.

also limiting it to saturday narrows your window of opportunity. she may be busy after all. why not just ask when the best time for her would be for you two to hang out before she leaves. dont make a big deal out of it or anything.

great Snarge, please help me out here. i did that the previous but it was a group kinda thing. now, i wanna take her out alone.

"I'm going out to get some ice cream this sat. You should join me for one last night of fun before you leave." does it sounds weird? initially, i thought these kinda messaging only works through group meeting so she doesn't feel like a date.. but if i were to ask it that way, do i sound like a retard?
