Caught up with a girl I hadnt seen in years recently.
Knew her when I was in early teens and saw her once or twice since.

Fast forward all these years, she is a successful recording artist and I ended up at a recent gig she did with some others.
Fortunately I look alot better these days then I did back then and when I went over to say hello, the first thing she said was 'you look good' and was asking me questions.. i.e. where i lived, what i was doing work wise, was i single.. etc..
She said she has a boyfriend and I am not sure what I said after that, but fairly immediately after that comment (I may have then said something) she said she wanted to introduce me to someone. The girl was standing behind her and she introduced her as her 'boyfriends sister' and of course a name. There were other people she could have introduced me to, but she just did that one.

End of the evening, I was still getting good vibes from her, but she is going to live abroad permanently so I am not sure how I can follow it up. Boyf lives abroad too.

So I have my own suspicions as to why she introduced me to the boyf's sister, but wanted to get some opinions.. any ideas?

Also, how would you pursue it, bearing in mind I think she may be back in to come..

she introduced you to her bf's sister because she was being polite and friendly.

The introduction to the bf's sister could have been her saying that she is interested but she can't pursue anything right now cause her bf would surely find out.

Proceed with caution. Put yourself in the bf's shoes before you act.

Getwit... I am really pleased you said that.. You have made my day. seriously.

I was thinking the same.. kind of like 'careful what you say as boyfriends sister is here'.. If she didn't care, she wouldn't have done anything.. no need.

I was being fairly direct and confident, so it doesnt surprise me.

I understand what you say about putting myself in the boyfriends shoes.. what I would say is that if it was my gf and she did anything, I would never feel mad at the guy.
She is the one who owes me loyalty, not some random I have ever met.. and if she didnt do it with guy a,.. she will do it with guy b. I nd understand what mean anyway.. and I think if she is happy with him.... she will stay with him.. if not.. she will leave.

daffy - i know what you mean about living abroad.. you never know .. she might come back. I dont agree about the being polite thing.. it doesnt make sense.
