One of my best friends is a professional athlete and well known around here. When we're together, we talk to basically every girl we want and sometimes, we set up a Day 2 and for the three of us. Might sound gay, but it's awesome: we can say whatever we want and the girls love it. They have the time of their life, no lie.

But what I've discovered, is that the girls are generally more into him than me. They do like my company, my sense of humor etc., but in the end, I feel they wanna do dirty stuff with him because he is famous.

Last night, we had a drink with this HB8 and we agreed to do a test (my friend and I). We're just enjoying ourselves and say WHATEVER comes to our mind, we won't text her afterwards and wait who gets the first text (she got both our numbers). So we had a great time, laughed a lot and talked about all the crazy shit she "never told anyone" (she said).

Now, the thing is: I got more IOIs than him and I got BETTER IOI's (you're one of the funniest guys I know, you're so mature, smart, you're so much fun blabla).

Then, when we dropped her at her home, we just waited. Guess what? I didn't get any text/call and she has sent him like 20 texts today telling she wants to meet him soon and talking about the stuff she wants to do with him haha.

Seriously, I don't give a damn and he can have her. But I want to make one statement:

No matter how intelligent you are. No matter how good looking you are. No matter how fun(ny) you are. If a girl can choose to fuck you or a famous person/athlete who looks above average, 9 out of 10 times she'll do him.

As much as I want to find a reason to disagree with you...I cant. The same as if I was looking for good sex and Keira Knightley was sitting on my left and a random female was on my right. If I had any shot with Keira I'd have tunnel vision with her being at the end with all other women. You seem like you're running above average game, you shouldnt have any problem getting girls in general but I can imagine it being rough competing with someone who's famous. I guess that's just the nature of it.

When you go out with this guy again, isolate a girl from everyone else and build that sexual tension with her. Thats the best advice I can give is to watch yourself gaming around a guy like that. Im sure he doesn't mean to, but just by being him can be a killer for your game. Average Joe < Famous Athlete.

Actually this more applies to guys that hold greater social power than those around them. It really has nothing to do with what they do for a living. Its how society perceives them. It is nearly impossible to close a girl with such people around you, especially when they are just as confident as you are. The only real time you have a chance is when you are around such a person that is not as confident as you are.

Exactly. But when we go out together to pick up a girl, it's because we want to escalate (or occasionally, a threesome). Therefore, it's basically impossible to isolate. I would never go out with him when I'm meeting a girl I might have longer term plans with, cause it'll kill my game.

But being together with him has a big advantage: girls are soooooo much easier when he's around, and I benefit from that as well .

I think you are underestimating the power of social power. No matter what the op's celebrity friend did he will still have more value/social power than the op as long as the celebrity is/was around the op.
