You're in luck - there's an entire forum section dedicated to that.

If you want something that you have never had before you must be willing to do something that you have never done before. That means you must be willing to get out of your comfort zone and that means you must be willing to get uncomfortable. Embrace anxiety as growing pains. If their is no anxiety there is no improvement.

However you need to understand fear. Fear is an inhibiting, distracting, and disruptive emotion. It is inhibiting because it stops you from doing things. Distracting because it captures your attention and you focus on it instead of what is going on in your environment. Disruptive because it pushes you do impractical things to get away from it. Fear is like fire you want to avoid touching fire at all cost and if you do touch it you want to get away from it as quickly as possible and by any means whatsoever. However, you can use fire to heat your home and cook your food if you control it.

When you get out of your comfort zone their will always be the fear of the unknown. To expand your comfort zone, you need to find a way to inspire yourself, to generate enough confidence to face what you are afraid of. Just get inspired and it will permanently change how you feel about doing a new thing, cementing feelings of comfort. You can do something new with an inspired mindset and if you keep doing that new thing with that inspired mindset it will form a mental habit, solidifying feelings of comfort. Do a new thing with an inspired mindset and then get positive experience, success, and the positive experience will cement feelings of comfort. Simply perservere through something uncomfortable it will give you confidence that you can get through it or even more in the future. Lastly, just get in the habit of going through what is uncomfortable.

Ultimately, you you can replace your feeling of fear a few ways. Appearanace, when you dress up it makes you feel good and this good feeling can carry over into the activity you want to do. Peers, when those around you are positive it gives you a good feeling and you can use your friends to encourage you to do something. Affirmations, you can use affirmations to change how you feel both momentarily or permanently; the idea is mental toughness. A plan, know what you want to do and that reduces a element of uncertainty and anxiety because you dont have to worry about what to say and what not; also, as I said fear is a disruptive emotion so just like captain steering a ship in a storm when you get nervous you want to have a plan so that you don't drift into doing the wrong thing or feel pressured to make a poor choice.

Best Wishes. Stay strong.
