i liked her and i know she liked me back - that i am sure of but somewhere along the line i messed up by acting all wussy-like and telling her how i felt. plus the whole office found out.
one time i texted her late one night telling her to 'meet me outside this supermarket the next day'. recently she asked what it was i wanted to talk about. i said i wasnt sure.
things got awkward and we didnt speak for a while until she started approaching, volunteering to work alone with me when covering for someone who was ill etc.
at the moment we're at the stage where we'll talk and be close when working together alone but when others are around we won't really speak. there is an awkward tension between us at the moment.
i'm thinking of sending a text tonight along the lines of:
'i didn't really deal with the situation as best as i could have. what i wanted to talk about that time was that i enjoy your company when we work together and i felt like we had some kind of connection that felt mutual. i'm not asking you to marry me or anything just that it would be interesting to see if we had that connection outside of a work environment and if we did then great and if not so be it.'
what do you think? should i send this text or should i continue the non-speaking until she approaches again? if so, what to say when she does? i really want to get her out of the office and alone with me.
