This is a girl I'm no longer gaming, this was about 2/3 months ago, but it's something that has just come back to me, because I haven't experienced anything like it since. Basically this girl, was in a long distance relationship, I know I was friendzoned now, but the thing that confused me, was she would let me escalate everything up to the point of kissing and after, (this is how I knew), but as an example I could be in a public place in a group and she would let me touch her on the thighs, lower back, hugs, we always had a close proximity, like shoulder touching constantly, and she would even let me hold her hand.

Another thing she never ever mentioned her boyfriend, the only example I can think of now is she told one time her accommodation's fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and she ended up standing outside for like 2 hours, and a few days later I found out from a mutual friend that this is while her boyfriend was over to visit. And this was in the same week as her birthday and she didn't even mention him coming to see her for it, and I asked the friend if it was a surprise visit because I was shocked and it wasn't.

I've no interest in pursuing this any more. I guess I'm just trying to understand it. However I do thank the experience for it because it's definitely made my game better.

My only thought it she enjoys the attention, but was too loyal to break it off - I am on the right track? Basically she used me to validate herself in his absence, and I was the only guy she let get that close whilst hitting on her, every guy it was "I have a boyfriend" straight up, but not to me, never stopped my advances until I pushed all the way.

Stop thinking about this so much. It could've been due to a variety of reasons, a lot of mental masturbation on your part.

1. She's just naturally flirtatious.
2. She was attracted to you.
3. She was seeking attention because she misses the intimacy.
4. She just seeks attention in general.
