I had a date set up tonight and the girl (who is moving today) texted me
"ahhhhh afc... I got a late start today and it looks like I won't be able to move in and go tonight thanks for the offer. It sounded fun"

How should I reply?

"Just let me know when you're free, how bout next week?"

Remain normal, don't react as if it phased you in any way. Acknowledge her reply but leave the conversation at that (in a kind way, no giving the cold shoulder!) Leave it for a few days and then re-open her and re-frame instantly to a high emotion state - reference something cool you have shared/flirted over for instance. Gauge her response, if she is receptive and is buying into the frame then sort out a meeting but not in a high pressure date scenario.

"I'm heading into town today to pick up some things, you fancy tagging along? I'll even let you buy me a coffee/milkshake/cocktail" for example if you have a C/F angle to your game. The important thing is make it something that you are going to do anyway regardless of if she is coming or not!
