Here's the deal.

I have singled out several "flaws" in my personality or behaviour during social interactions that I want to phase out and eliminate altogether.

I devised several "plans" for my future social interactions to stop these traits from emerging again.

"Ok you have to remember not to brag a lot! Don't complain about work too!"

The problem is that when the time comes my mind literally blanks out. I forget everything I had planned and it's just one AFC trait after another.

I've noticed that at home I have full control over my actions; I can think clearly, I know what makes an alpha. But when I'm in public I can't concentrate or think at all. My body just acts on its own as if on automatic, giving rise to AFC traits.

At one time I wore a rubberband around my arm hoping that it would act as a constant reminder on the matter at hand whilst I'm enjoying myself with friends. Sadly it didn't work. I just lose myself in the fun and it's only afterwards that I remember that I had to be careful of what I do.

I don't know, do you have any thoughts on the matter? I really want full control of my actions when I'm with people. At least I want to control what I say, because words have been firing out from my lips lately.

Hah I'm not sure if this thread made sense.
