Well interesting

A. She knows what you were doing
B. You said it in the wrong way
C. She wasn't expecting it or isn't used to playful flirting or thought you were serious.

It could be a mix of these as well but it seems like an at least semi solid opener so i don't really know what else to tell ya lmao I guess just try again on other people. Funny reply though

@Adolffrank-I really don't see why you'd get a negative response to such opener or line.

I can make that work all day with a 100% guaranteed positive response which is a smile,laugh then a reply to which she likes(candy).

Obviously,your tone and delivery are off and incongruent.Body language,facial expression,etc.

well me and this girl dated like in high school ages ago and after we regualy flirted n i just ok back to England as i was living abroad (im english im not racist the name is just a joke lol) anyways just talked to her with that openeer when i saw her today like she was like hi n smiled n i siad that lol

I was saying that the problem was most likely in the delivery,congruency and facial expression being wrong or off.

I was saying that the problem was most likely in the delivery,congruency and facial expression being wrong or off.
Judging by Adolf's PM's i believe it was an IM Conversation, which would explain the poor responce with lack of facial expression to get the humor, etc.

True I could see that. Doing stuff like that is harder then because they can't really see the facial stuff and it's harder to tell when someone's joking
