i forgot my old number? especially this one.
whats a witty reply? like i thought of something like
"oh if u have a boyfriend, why dont i give u a text exactly after a year? and we can go out than" etc. BUT for "i forgot my old number? ". what should i say?

You failed to convey to her and therefore she uses those lines on you. There no point in giving a witty respones, It might be a shit test but thats is determined by her previous action before this. which you have no mentioned.
