So yesterday I was at a bar in nyc by myself. Had drinks by myself and approached two girls with a simple "Hi." Got a great response back. They were super friendly, asking if I was Italian or Australian (i'm american). Asked why i was out alone, I told them I was with my friend earlier but he left to go on a date (which was true) and thought I'd just stay out. They said, "thats so confident of you to just come up to two girls". i said, "i guess...but if you are friendly and nice it's pretty easy" to which they loved hearing. I wasnt able to escalate but we had good conversation. I tried to get one of the girls numbers but I dont think she heard me. But she kept saying you are soo cool, youre not creepy, and you seem normal. I did get the other, not-hot girls number but for work purposes (we are in the same industry). IF i want to get the other girls number, is it rude to ask the non-hot chick for it or does that come off as creepy?

They left after about 30 mins of chatting saying were not leaving bc of you, but the drinks here are way too expensive.

Never get a girls number through her friend or if it's posted on her Facebook ect. It is SUPER creepy to them (like stalker creepy)
See if the girl you do have the number for can set up a meeting or knows where hot girl likes to hang out
