-Lost wallet at grocery store
-HBSafewayCashier helps takes down my contact info to in case she finds it.
-Have multiple very short conversations over the past month and she is always smiling at me

I don't know how to turn this small talk into a date. She always try's to look at me out of the corner of her eye when she thinks I'm not looking at her.

She is on the job so I have limited time to talk but I think she is interested. I bombed last time and she looked pissed that I did not ask her out like she was expecting it.

How do I recovery and turn small talk into something productive?

Come up to her and say: " I never do this, but I would like to take you on a date"..

Simple and effective.. If the attraction is there, you should have no problem at all.

Yeah I'm not understanding the issue here. She sounds like she likes you, wants you to ask her out and where are you getting lost? Ask her out. What is the problem?
