What to do after opener?

I have tried out an opener(targetting women who is alone in a shopping complex), and it works 50% of the time. The other half of the time it didn't work was somehow the target lost interest - when she somehow lost eye contact. Wander what I did wrong.

One of the problem here is that after the opener, what should I do? Should I DHV immediately?

Of course 75 %of the time it works after the opener
