I mean no offense, but it would seem that you are very much depending on one text, from one lady. Being so dependant on the outcome makes you do stupid things, either towards the girl or just in your own personal life. One such stupid thing is wasting your time waiting for a single text.

Wait a few days then try again. Then try again after a week. If nothing, what I do is wait for some holiday to come by, and I'll usually send out a mass text to everyone in my phonebook, something along the lines of, i.e. Happy Valentines day! You can keep my gift under 200$. You wouldn't believe how many 'dead' phonenumbers you can revive this way. Persistence is key, and don't be afraid to try new things.
