| So a couple days ago i went to my college to play ball in the back. theres freshman orientation so there are alot of people there. as we played ball a bunch of people came to the court, the kids that are in orientation. this was like 10 pm. so while the majority of the group played knockout at the other end, 2 girls sat at the picnic table at the side.
while during a gamebreak i sat down and asked one of the about their orientation and stuff and where they were from, call this girl, girl A. but we didnt get much into it i didnt push so i just watched the game on the court. then she had to go pee so her and her friend left. when they came back, i ended up sitting next to her friend, girl B. this is how the conversation commenced.
girl: i like your shoes, are those lebrons?
(i have a pair of silver shoes with electric green trim, google lebron 8 ps dunkmans)
me: yea im a big lebron fan, do you watch basketball?
girl: no i just like shoes, and i work at olympia sport.
me: oh cool.

what the fuck was that? what was i thinking? here i am, a girl INITIATES a conversation with me, gives me a compliment, and i act indifferent? i might as well have said "cool story bro" instead. she was cute as hell.
after it was over, i found a billion things i couldve said.. "yea of course you would like shoes" "oh yea how many pairs of shoes do you have" "hows working at olympia sport?" "oh so you can give me a discount right?" "so you must play something, let me guess _____"
and the conversation couldve went on from there!!!
instead, i sat around and waited for next game, in which thank god i won, but im so mad at myself.
i didnt even get her name! jesus effing christ. i swear with each of these fuck ups im gonna learn. this girl was cute, i wanted to talk to her, but for once in my life a girl initiated the conversation, and i just dropped it like that. 4th quarter, game on the line, championship right within grasp, all i had to do was go up with it, but instead i took a pass and passed out of bounds.
i didnt realized how badly i messed up until im here sharing this with you guys.
