There's a concert coming up this June 25th for the band Foster the people, Kimbra and other singers. The concert takes place outside. Stage, and a big enclosed field. I'm going to this concert solo because I don't know of any of my friends in this area who are interested in this band/type of music. Regardless, I'm more than happy to solo a new scene. I've never been to a concert and going alone in a way does make me a little vulnerable, yet puts up a lot to gain.

I have very little approach anxiety because I'm here on vacation and feel I probably won't see the person again in the future if I screw up. However, I would like to make some friends and perhaps start a short term summer fling while I'm here.

The plan is to get friendly with people in the line up to the event/waiting area, and warm to as many people as I can before the concert starts. This way I can reapproach them later in the night.

My real question is how would I go about making my conversations go DEEPER than small talk. I can introduce myself fine, talk about the situation, be funny and laid back, but I would like to be able to build some strong attraction and intimacy.

I've been recently reading The Natural and Sixty Years of Challenge to get myself prepped for this event.

tl;dr. How do I work a large group of people at a concert to build attraction with many people efficiently?

Keep each interaction ultra-brief, light hearted, and include a dash of humor, wit, imagination, or whatever other value you can offer. Just remember to keep moving and don't linger too long with any particular group of people - unless someone special catches your attention.

Just walk around stormwind and get a buff from each class. Then go to the auction house, get some food and the appropriate flask for your spec. GOOD LUCK!

Thanks dude, but I intend to go prebuffed. Going to talk to people in transportation to fill my social momentum bar before I even get to the entrance.

Are there any particular strategies for group opening in concerts? Has anyone else had experience they could share on soloing a concert?

BTW. If there's any particular strategies/openers or what have you that you guys would also like to use in the future but have yet to, I am willing to test them. I will include it in my field report after the event.
