So I'm in New York working for the summer. My relations a little upstate said they would sort out a job here for my friend and I. Turns out the pay in the bar is shit ($5 per hour) we had to spend $80 dollars for pants and shoes for the job...we would only be making around 80-90$ a month and we're only here for two months. I would prefer to live in the city but feel bad now because I asked them to help out....I'm finding it hard to get the courage to tell them that I feel we should move back to the city because I don't want to seem ungrateful. I know I should be a man about this but these are the kind of people that will do everything to keep us here.

Any advice?
