My ex of a one and a half year college relationship randomly texts me pointless stuff periodically. We broke up about 3 months ago on a semi-good note. Once she text me saying she got a new tattoo. Once after getting back from vacation to Europe she said:

Her: "Cool"
ME: "Whats up?"
Her: "Thanks for telling me you're back"
ME: "We got back late last night and i havent been by my phone. How are you?"
Her: "Fine."

And last night she text me, "Tech is on tv!!" Tech as in Texas Tech University, where we go to college ad met. I didn't reply to that one cause my friend who knows game told me not to cause its pointless.

Can someone tell me what shes thinking by texting pointless reasons to text me. I think she is trying to keep me invested with our giving up her replication value.

HELP. I care cause she is a great person and I want to be platonic.
