There is a new receptionist at my gym, she is a HB8. After leaving my gym card at home a few times she has had to enter my name in the system. She now greets me by name when I come and go. Other then greetings we have not spoke. I'm generally a little shy but today I decided to man up and talk to her, after my workout I walked over and we started talking about our history and what we did now etc. I believe we both enjoyed each others company and after about 15min of talking I didn't get a number close. Should I asked for her number? How should I make my next move? I would appreciate any suggestions for taking things to the next level. Apologies in advance for any spelling/gramatical errors.

I'm new here, still lots to learn but I don't think 15 minutes is nearly long enough man. I would talk to her for at least 45 minutes, if she doesn't offer a number in that time then I think you blew it. I normally get a number within 30 minutes of targeting a bitch.

15 mins is more than enough to ask her # if you built attraction. Say:

"Hey what's you're number so we can have a few real drinks without the protein some other time?"

Or something to that respect.

But, you must be confident and be pretty sure of yourself... you don't sound it very much in your post.
45 minutes!! Dude she's working.... you'll talk that long and longer on your D1 if you get her # and secure the meet

Even a few minutes are ok to build something. Simply ask for it when you will feel so - not when some time has passed. If you feel ok asking for a number after 1 minute - good, after 10 minutes - great. Who cares, just enjoy the conversation and lead it naturally.

Establish more comfort, talk about mutual interests. Drop a hint that you've always wanted to try something new (e.g., you both love Indian food "OMG I've totally been meaning to try that new Indian place over at XYZ..." and introduce notion "we should totally hit up that place"). Talk with her a bit more before asking for a number, a number isn't anything really to be honest but if you work on solidifying some rapport, make her laugh, get her on her toes a bit she'll likely give you her number with intent on hanging.

^ Direct & Confident. It doesn't matter what you say after the "you seem interesting" part, but it is ALWAYS better to time bridge than to just get the number without a day 2 plan.

A better way of doing this is to invite her to do something that you guys were just talking about in your conversation
