Over a month ago I first got into PUA. I was reading heavily into it every night till late. I noticed the stimulation to my brain and excitement from reading it, was keeping me up at night. My mind was just racing. Eventually it led to full out insomnia.
I stopped reading PUA but the insomnia did not stop. Basically Id either wake every 1/2 hr or just everytime id almost fall asleep id jolt back awake fully. Sleeping pills melatonin, all that crap didnt help. Some nights lately it will get better and ill stay asleep once I finally do fall asleep at like 4am. Although any kind of stress the next day and my head will start radiating and the cycle will start again.
Last night I was in a good mood, I had slept ok the past 2 days. Was DT with a new wing. We were discussing game and I was really excited that I finally found a wing who seemed serious. Had that same feeling when I first read PUA, like holy shit this could actually work. Made plans to go out sarging tmrw afternoon. Basically did not fall asleep till 7am last night. Id have little 10 minute micro sleeps from 3-7am before actually falling asleep.
Anyone else experience this, like my brain is absolutely fucked. Any change of pace from my boring shitty life and shit like this happens. I dont want to stop PUA but I cant go on like this.

Usually when I sleep in the afternoon, I can't sleep from 3-7 am for some reason. Then, when the sun comes out I sleep like a child. I think in your case its over excitement that got you insomnia. I can't see how pickup can give you insomnia lol. _________________ In this world, you don't get what you deserve but what you fight for!

Now I am able to sleep well because I've learned a lot of things and right now it's not as new anymore so I am able to relax and learn.
But I still get excited a night before I want to go out and I usually don't sleep too good.
