okay how would you change it to make me equal to her or above?

This is what im struggling on, getting her to chase me?

"Hey you're cute, pity most cute girls are dumb" (you with wry grin, a wink, and 'just teasing tone')

"Hey, who are you calling dumb?!' (hb 9 or hb 10 with laughter)

The only thing with this is you're are going to get a lot of flakes because you haven't built up a solid connection with the girls first. You're only goal is the phone number, you have to aim a bit higher than that.

Nevertheless, I think whenever someone gets an opener idea they should go out and try it to find out if it works for themselves.

I was thinking this when reading the opener...

The opener (to me) is to simply put her in a frame where conversation can ensue. That whole dialogue just didn't work for me... way too contrived.

Strauss, I used "You look fucking bored..." as an opener last week (and closed with it), and yours seemed uncomfortable to me - there's a reference point. I also never compliment a woman right out of the gate. She's done nothing to deserve an accolade. Giving her one that soon pretty much puts you in line with the other 'nice guys' and AFCs that are hitting on her.

But it's your game - if you can make that sound natural... whatever works for you. As for me, I'd not use it.

I wouldn't use it as an opening. Maybe during A2 but not as an opener.

Strauss, go out and try it. Feild test it and get your own imperical statistical information.

When I started out - I'd start keeping a list of hte openers I used, which ones worked, and which sucked. I found that the opener I'd used with the greatest success was one I'd not really liked that much when first reading... But, MY perception isn't a woman's. I want HER perception.

Practice.

We can point you to every book out there - and I suggest reading all of them you can - but nothing takes the place of getting your ass out of the house and meeting people.

Until you're natural at meeting people, until you can start inventing your OWN openers on the fly, until you never get that butterfly in your stomach while walking up to a group of 4 hot women.... GET OUT THERE and meet people!

Books/reading/forums for concepts.... then put them to use for real.
