I felt really bad. then i realised that my post was in fact perpetuating the feelings of badness as it only focused on the negative. so i changed the post to alll the positives.

i then listened to a Paul McKenna relaxation cd and feel ultra relaxed and in tune with my inner self.

possibly. my father has some form of autism or aspergers or something. i too have something like this. i often if not always choose to stay in rather than go out and meet people. i find 'small talk' exceptionally difficult. hence why i'm pretty shit at pick ups...

would i be congruent if i tried to pick women up when i hate small talk???

Just stop giving a fuck.....seriously thinking "I AM THE PRIZE" is hard to internalize when starting off in conversations...no one truly believes that until they get the reference experiences to back that up usually. But it needs to be like a self-hypnosis...which is hard for strong-minded people. I would rather tell them..say anything you feel like and don't be AFRAID of the consequences. Don't be AFRAID of what girls think. In an essence, thats what a KING does.
