Okay so I just turned legal age and went to a bar (not my first time) and did not pick up any girls. I actually only exchanged a few words with some girls I kind of know so tonight was a complete failure...

A little background, I'm a college age student and I'm home in my little city of less than 100,000 for the summer. I "know of" a lot of girls in the city and I believe they "know of" me, however after high school I think they've all come to think of me as the shy cute guy (I would consider myself pretty attractive). I also don't have that many close friends but the odd time I'll receive an invite to a house party or bar/club.

How do I improve my game. Does the fact that I am still young and come from a smaller city where everyone kind of "knows of" everyone change anything? Also I feel I'm kind of left out of group discussions because I don't have any true friends or wingmen, how can I improve this?

I feel my biggest weakness is I just don't contribute enough to the conversations or know how to properly introduce myself to a conversation. For example, suppose me and 3 other friends are sitting at a table and are talking to two girls I kind of "know of". What should I saw to invite myself into the conversation without sounding like an idiot.

One more thing, if your thinking find a new group of friends, I can't if I want to pick up... In each age group there is kind of a core/clicks that separates HB's from the rest so I need to stick with the group I'm with whether I like them or not.

you are overly fixated on being part of a group. Learn to solo.

This will be especially effective for you because as a good looking guy girls will approach, or at least eye fuck you. If your not in a group you dont have to worry about them lowering your social value, which they will considering your poor skill set.
