| Try these steps:
(1) Game other women who are just as hot and CHALLENGING as your girlfriend/ex: Think of relational equity as a form of capital. You have Oneitis because you are 100% invested in your partner. If you bang an hb5 prostitute, how much investment is she going to extract out of you? None. If you meet an hb7 who makes it a bit too easy, she might only extract a 10% investment out of you; leaving you with a 90% investment in your ex thus still in your Oneitis. Now imagine you meet a girl you're MORE attracted to than your ex who also poses a challenge - she occasionally pushes you away, makes you jealous, etc. She has the potential to take more than 50% of your investment capital away, curing your Oneitis. It's never just "go fuck 10 other girls" - the girls must be of equal quality to what you had before, and must elicit the same emotional torque from you. If you take to fucking land whales after your HB10 oneitis girlfriend dumps you, that's not going to cure your Oneitis.
(2) Censor your ideas; both internal and external ones. This might sound unusual at first but it's because most people aren't used to consciously controlling their thoughts. Every time you think about your ex, tell yourself "stop" and think about something else. Every time you think about missing her, think about the look on her face when she's dating a guy incomparable to what you can make yourself. As for external ideas, make sure you don't wallow in your drama by listening to Bruno Mars songs or watching Romance movies. Don't buy into a soul mate myth or surrender yourself to parasitic dependency.
(3) No-contact: Don't speak to her, don't text her, don't call her, don't try and re-initiate contact with her; nothing. Avoid her at ALL costs. But on the other hand, don't go extreme with it. If you burn her picture in your attic in a black magic ritual, you only re-affirm the significance she had in your mind. You want to treat it indifferently, act as if you didn't care at all. Don't block her from facebook or something of the sort as it will only give her the joy of knowing that she got to you. Act undeterred.
(4) Work on yourself: Ewing theory. Sometimes when a man has lost something that he believes gave him "value," there's a chance he may over compensate by working harder in other areas. Take advantage of the energy you get from a high octane Oneitis, channel it into something positive. Work out, work harder, work more.
(5) Embrace it: I myself was just reecntly reminded of the pain of attachment and a break up. It seems that no matter how much mastery or experience is achieved in the process of learning Game, one always remains susceptible to the feeling of emptiness. But you learn not to let it overwhelm you. You learn not to fear it; only to admire it for being the greatest of humbling experiences. Oneitis/heartbreak is an experience I believe EVERY MAN should go through. Afterwards, you truly feel invincible. It's like you know you've been through the worst of it and suddenly reach this new level of Zen Game. You know what you want from a girl better, and you can face the fear of loss in future relationships with audacity rather than intimidation
