Hi,
I am persian and I like my country and I am proud of it.However because of media and political issues, my nationality doesn't sound good to some people here.
Well, to see whether this is an issue ,I told some hbs another nationality to check if it makes a difference and I think so far it makes a difference.(I had better results or at least I think)
For example when I tell my real nationality. Sometimes ( not all the time)
they say: "oh ok" or "that's ok" and I am laughing at them sometimes because of their reaction since it's like they see an alien. Although there is an exception to this in LA since they are a lot of hot rich persians over there,
So guys, any suggestion for that, how I can overcome it?
Also if anybody has same issue and how do you deal with it?

Lets be realistic. Anyone that thinks Persians are 'hostile' or any race is a 'terrorist' is stupid sociologically speaking. Just move on. I personally can't stand retards like that. I read a lot about the Spanish inquisition, so whenever I meet someone who is mexican - I think "thats okay." They didn't know what they were doing.

I didn't use the word "Terrorist" here but (as you mentioned too)it comes with my nationality sometimes .So it's in the back of their mind.
I know you are knowledgeable and deep but many hbs don't know even where my country is. They just don't have good feeling about it.
I have never been ofended by my nationality here since I am in a big /multicultural city. But at the end of the day , I want to f-closed them. So I have put extra work if I want to get her.
So I was thinking of not telling the truth if my only intention is just getting laid and honestly it works better sometimes.

If someone is not intelligent enough to fight against stereotypes or is brainwashed by norms of that term, then they truly DESERVE to go FUCK themselves. Why should you lie for your nationality? In all honesty, I find nationality retarded - but we all are victims to nationality to some extent.

In any case, I say fuck it, embrace the reality, and fight it and show you're a fucking man about it. If that "hot babe 10" is so self-concious about the terroristic implications of nationalities or currently anyone from certain Islamic cultures as a bomb-wielding maniac, then she's a ripe cunt that's retarded. If they really get so affected by where you're from and you YOURSELF DON'T care, it's equally retarded as a girl telling me she's part this, part italian, part all this nonsense bullshit and then finding off I got turned off because she's 1/4 asian.

If someone asks your nationality simply reply "I'm from Awesome"! And move on...If you can't let it go, how can you expect them to?
