So I went out yesterday and decided to pre game at this pretty cheap bar. I was alone and I noticed that I had known one of the waitresses.. So I waved.. She smiled and a few minutes later she just walked up and started talking to me.

HB: HEY!
ME: How are you?
HB: Im good.
ME: You closing tonight?
HB: No actually its my best friends birthday tonight so I get to leave early and go to her house!
ME: Sounds fun.
HB: You should come drink with us!
ME: Alright, take my number and text me with the info when your off..

I give her my number

(I gave her my number because I only had a few ioi's from her. I didn't know if she wanted me to come, or was just being nice)

She didn't text back until the next day.

HB: "Hey sorry I didn't text you last night, I ended up having to close, and when I got off I went to bed. I'm lame I know. lol"

I have no clue what to text back... Any suggestions???

I was thinking
"No big, I ended up having a few friends over at my place to enjoy drinks and a nice dip in the hot tub"

"I think I can forgive you, BUT your walking on thin ice!! be careful! "

"Its no big, We will hang some other time "

"No big, I ended up having a few friends over at my place to enjoy drinks and a nice dip in the hot tub" -- this is good because its DHV, but skip the "no big deal part". If she bites and asks if they were chicks, be evasive and playful

"I think I can forgive you, BUT your walking on thin ice!! be careful! Wink" -- pretty good but dont wink, the wink is best let implied not explicit, , similar to the famous "you can make it up to me"


"Its no big, We will hang some other time Smile" - this is the worst, excusing noncompliance plus supplication - also NO SMILEYS, your not a 14 year old school girl

ME: Sounds fun.

Walking on thin ice was decent...but i dont get what it means....she may think in a friend way. I always try to lead and frame it in a way that says " I WANT YOU DUH IDIOT"

I would have said

"You're walking on thin ice though....keep this up and I probably won't date you"

I don't know any girl that isn't fat or that doesn't cut her wrist that this would work on.
