Hey everybody, I'm new to the forum and had a question.

I was out last night at a bar, and was holding eye contact with this girl a little bit. Later on when i went to the bathroom her friend was coming out of it and said " hey my friend thinks you're cute!" Obviously i went and opened her (bare in mind i was with one friend so i did say I'll have to keep this brief as i have to get back to my friend ) Everything went great for those 3-4 minutes when we chatted, made her laugh a little, found out a little about each other etc. etc.

She suddenly had to leave with her friends, so i said "well in case i don't see ya" (Handed her the phone) and she put her number in it. She did invite me to the bar they were going to next, but we didn't end up going there.

I didn't text her right after to say "Hey, it's (my name) etc. which i regret
So she doesn't have my number.

My question is When and how to open the texting. Should i wait a few days to first text or how long should i wait.....and also what to open with.

Don't wait too long or she may have forgotten you.. or at least forgotten how good the interaction was with you..

Call her, it saves you a ton of over thinking and stress.
