| what ever works for you,
self improvement is difficult, it takes a reasonable amount of discpline to develope new habits and drop old habits, the saying old habits die hard is well known because it is true
you just have to find what motivates you, you know what you want, all that is left is making a plan to do it, then following through with that plan, if you want to start pickup, just pick a day any day, but actually select a day, that day is your start, from that day forward, no matter what, single, girlfriend, married, in hospital with severe 3rd degree burns all over your body, talk to one new girl a day, you don't have to get her number, you don't have to sleep with her, you don't even have to have a long conversation, just simply make your goal to meet a new person and at the very least say hi, start somewhere small and reasonable with your goals so that it requires less discipline to maintain the habit, then continue to enforce discipline and develope the habit that can later be worked on and developed further
rome was not built in a day, taking practical steps to actually make a shift in your life can only happen if you make it happen, you can't just, read read read and expect that all of a sudden you have educated yourself to the point you are some magical pimp, unfortunately it is that know how, that confidence, that feeling that you know what to do, when this resonates through your body and going out to say hi to a few girls strike up a conversation with them becomes a normal every day to day thing, you will realize how simple it is (but you only will develope this confidence from experience, and putting yourself into situations you are un-confident in, and that can be really nerve racking)
it is really like going to the gym, at first going to the gym sucks, you probably don't want to actually do it for yourself you just want the results without all the effort, you get all sore the first day you go, you don't even want to try to hit up the intimidating weights or do any amount of cardio that would make you uncomfortable (or some guys have the other problem of being over eager, hitting weights that they are not ready for and failing hard or injuring themselves), eventually most people that go to the gym drop off because they lack the discipline to turn it into a habit, the guys that manage to maintain that habit will start to feel more comfortable and confident with the weights, before you know it, johnny has gone to the gym 6 days a week for 2 years and has the body of a greek god, he has improved so much, leaps and bounds from when he started, hitting the heavey stacks is just as easy as breathing for johnny now, when he started he couldn't lift 1/4 of the weight he does
you just have to find that discipline to keep yourself motivated, make a goal, set a timeline, attempt to accomplish that goal, after the timeline or goal has been reached, reflect on your process of accomplishing that goal and what sort of strategies were ineffective, and what sort of strategies were effective, eventually you will have a clear outline of what you want, and how to get it, follow the outline and improve the process
TL:DR you know what you want, force yourself to do it over and over, if you can't then maybe you just don't actually want it bad enough
GOOD LUCK
