Hey, there is a girl in my uni who when I met her thought she could be a good girl to throw in my social circle. I went with the goal of friend zoning her, she starts to flip out over me asking about uni when I text her (Text like once or twice a week to ask about assignment/courses) and that I don't ask her how she is doing when I text her.

After this flip out I back up and think "damn this is too dramatic for me" and just cease contact. Meet her on the train and she starts texting me again. She drops cold again so I just give up.

Fast forward to a couple of days ago, I get a hilarious message from one of my mates, saying the girl is calling me a stalker and saying that I think shes super hot. Keep in mind this girl does not stop yapping when you are talking to her, seems like she needs to be center of attention.

I'm thinking of confronting her in front of her friends to ask her what the hell is going on in his head.

Just ignore it, if she likes attention that much she is going to feed off of you talking to her infront of her friends.

If you don't talk at her/look at her people will know she is full of shit because you are not acting the way she is describing.

Haha, my friends laughed it off. I don't care if she tries to spread it to other people, I've got a feeling she will back off to my face. She avoided me today when the friend she walked in the room with sat with my group of friends, just walked out alone. I've had nothing but positive signals in person I just think my text game (might) be whack.

Yea well it is good to throw in the "how are you" at the end of a text even if it is token.

Thats fair enough, but if I was to text her "how are you" in the day im guessing she wouldn't have answered. I still cant figure how it makes me a stalker.

I meant, at first like when you were asking about study/assignments/test.

"Hey (hername) it's (yourname) how are you going? Do you know about blah blah blah?"

"Hey (hername) it's (yourname) Do you know about blah blah blah? By the way hows you day?"

For first texts afterwards you don't need to say your name and shit.

What that does is show that you are considering them rather then just farming information from them.
Saying their name is not always required but it does do something to make them feel more special or what ever.

I don't think that you did anything stalker she is just talking shit saying your a stalker and you think she is really hot. Just bullshit so she can gossip with friends and make herself seem desirable.

if she didn't like you she would just ignore it and say nothing to her friends.
clearly she has some interest in you. go for it. play the game.
don't be lame and go after her. let her come to you. beware with the texting don't over do it.

Yeah I'll probably give it a go, don't think I'll use any digital game because it doesn't convey what you want to convey in the way you expect. Anyway thanks for the advice.
