If i'm waiting for a girl to come back or meeting up with some friends and i'm waiting on my own I tend to keep busy with my smart phone. I thought it may be DLV (shows possible lack of confidence etc) or may be seen as DHV (you are a busy person, communicating with a lot of people). I'm quite new to this and want to know if this is a habit I should cut out. What are your thoughts?

Posts: 219 | | If you are on your own and there is no-one around to talk with it will show minor DHV to anyone that is paying attention to you, although if they are paying attention to you maybe you should be talking to them.
During the date it's DLV because it shows that you are either bored of them or have no attention span or can't hold a conversation in person.
My opinion is when I find myself wanting to do that, it's because I want to block myself off from whats happening around me.

Only use the smartphone in emergency cases . . . Definitely is not a 'DHV' in any way to see a loner standing in a corner with his phone.
Avoid that scenario at all times. Unless you're actually in need of using the phone.
