To start off, I recently got out of my LTR and I would consider myself new to Pick Up, but have been lurking this community for a while. I realize that just starting off, I am going to make some mistakes but from those, hopefully I'll find success.

So, last Friday I went to get my hair trimmed. I went to a hairstylist school, which is where students cut your hair, and it is pretty affordable, with great service and tons of girls around. It's also a place where they don't accept tips. I meet my hairstylist and she is this cute brunette, with a ton of bracelets on. I'm in a great mood, and normally pretty outgoing, so I have no problem talking to her. I mention that I was studying film for a while, and she flips out saying she loves movies and has always wanted to study film. We continue talking about this, and we are making good eye contact with each other.

We transition through other topics, and start getting to know each other more and more, and while at first it felt like a typical hair cut, it was becoming more fun and we were both having a good time. She joked that we need to stop talking so she can focus. It turns out we have a lot in common, and she is a hippy kind of girl, who loves to smoke, drink and party. I'm feeling more and more confident and attracted to her while she cuts my hair, but then there are a few times where she mentions "her girlfriend". I didn't really pick up on it, and thought it was just her friend, but she then mentioned that she once had hair as short as mine (a few inches), which further leads me to believe she may just be a full on lesbian.

Anyways, she is walking me out and doing the typical pushing of products onto me. I start talking to her about my plans for the evening and tell her that after the concert tonight, my friend is gonna be throwing an after party. She was in the middle of telling me about some gel, so she continued to talk about that, and I thought she was just ignoring my invite out. But after she finishes selling me product (I didn't buy any btw) She asks about the party and where it'll be and what not. So I say if she just gives me her number I'll text her. She smiles, and gives it to me, then jokes about how she shouldn't be doing this in front of her co-workers and what not, but I just smile confidently.

I text her later that night at like 2 after the concert, and she doesn't reply till the next day saying she was already asleep but wants to know what I'm doing that night because "its her girls 21st". I haven't been texting her a ton, I told her that I'm having people over next weekend and she should come. Then I told her I have a funny story to tell her when we hang out, and she said she can't wait to hear it. Then I mentioned that I've been getting compliments on my haircut and she laughed and said I was a fun guest to have.

So my problem/situation/question:
In the past, I have quickly been tossed in the friend-zone, or just known as a fun guy to hang with, but not sleep with. I am working on changing this. I am still confused on how this happens. Also, I have had people assume I'm gay many times in the past. I am worried this may have happened again. I am not sure if I made my intentions too clear with HB, and while she would be a lot of fun to hang out with, I want a girl this summer I can smoke/drink/chill with, but also sleep with. How can I make these intentions clear, and not have her think I'm gay or just a guy that only wants to party with her? If she is a lesbian, how can I swing it for a 3some with her gf? When she gave me her number was she interested in me or just wants to be friends?

Next time she talks about her GF ask her how long they have been together.

She may correct you and state that it is just her friend.

It sounds like they a muff more than just friends though!

You could try hang out and get into a 3some if they are but it's not going to be a summer long thing.
